Bio

Dr. Nate Altmeyer is a licensed clinical psychologist in San Diego, California who has a diverse background working with a broad range of individuals in the clinical and organizational setting. He splits his time between a local healthcare organization, where he practices as an organizational psychologist, and here at Sagecy as a clinical psychologist.

In graduate school while working towards his dual PhD in industrial & organizational psychology and clinical psychology, he focused on how pro-social business cultures can thrive and achieve high performance. Through a circuitous route of building businesses and serving in advisory roles to transform organizations to be healthier and higher performing cultures, he decided to complete his PhD in clinical psychology.

 When he is not practicing therapy, he enjoys spending his time facilitating workshops, reading and studying ethnopharmacology, philosophy, and contemplative practices. He also enjoys recreating outdoors and attempting to relive his glory days of being a semi-professional triathlete.
